New Claim Lodged Against George Michael’s Estate

A battle is underway over the estate of deceased popstar, George Michael, reports the Daily Mail

The highly successful singer died at the end of 2016 and left behind an estate estimated to be worth around £105 million.

His Will is thought to have left the bulk of his estate to his two sisters, but this Will is already the subject of a legal challenge from the man who was his partner at the time of his death, Fadi Fawaz. Fawaz, who had a five-year relationship with George Michael, is apparently still living in one of the properties owned by the singer – a house in Regent’s Park in London – but has reportedly been told he must move out of this property shortly.

Now another of the singer’s former partners has lodged a claim on his estate. Kenny Goss had a relationship with George that lasted for around 15-years. He claims that he supported the singer through some of the more difficult times in his life and that George had told him he would make sure he would be well looked after. According to the Daily Mail, Goss claims that the singer’s Will doesn’t reflect this intention and he is looking to receive a “substantial” share of the estate.
